Tracey Edmonds recently took the Internet with a storm after abruptly announcing her split with fiancee Deion Sanders after 12 years of being together. Responding to the post on Instagram, Coach Prime wished Edmonds for her future, making it clear that the split was amicable.
The split came mere days after the conclusion of Deion Sanders’ debut season as a D1 head coach. Both Prime and Tracey have been very passionate about their respective careers, and they have supported each other for it. However, it seems their intensive roles weren’t as feasible for their relationship after all.
That said, here’s a brief look at the life and career of the successful Hollywood Producer and businesswoman Tracey Edmonds.

Tracey Elaine McQuarn was born in Los Angeles, California, on February 18, 1967, to Jacqueline and George McQuarn. Tracey also has a younger brother named Michael McQuarn.

Edmonds is known for her profound career in the entertainment business. She has produced a multitude of shows in her career. She started her journey as a producer after creating Edmonds Entertainment Group, Inc. in 1993.

Tracey Edmonds is known to be dating the NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders since 2012. The couple has supported each other’s ambitions for a long time. They got engaged in 2019 after seven years of relationship. However, the power couple announced an amicable split in December 2023.
Tracey took to her Instagram to make the announcement by posting a low-quality image of the couple with the caption, “To EVERYONE who has been there for us, supported us, and shown us love…”
She added: “We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared together. Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this transition. Thank you for being there for us ALL THESE YEARS! We love you and appreciate you SO MUCH!”
Deion Sanders took no time to comment on the post with a heartfelt adieu to his ex-fiancee by writing, “Love u Tracey and You’ve been a true blessing to me. Dating History With High Profile Celebrities
Tracey started dating Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds around 1990 before marrying the singer/record producer in 1992 in a private ceremony. The couple collaborated in a lot of projects during their time together. Tracey’s Edmonds Entertainment Inc. was also formed during that period.
The couple announced their divorce in 2005 after 13 years of being together. After separation, Tracey and Kenneth have been committed co-parents for their two sons, Brandon and Dylan.
Two years after her divorce with Kenneth, Tracey got engaged to comedian Eddie Murphy. The two tied the knot in 2008 on a private island in French Polynesia. However, it turned out to be one of the shortest marriages in the American entertainment industry, as it lasted only two weeks.
Tracey Edmonds’ Sons, Brandon and Dylan
Tracey Edmonds is a proud mother of two. Her older son Brandon has been following in her footsteps as he has started producing projects on his own. As per IMDb, Brandon has produced two TV Series, ‘Games People Play’ and ‘College Hill’ and two movies, ‘End of the Road’ and ‘Wake.’
While, on the other hand, his younger brother Dylan hasn’t had much exposure in the entertainment business partly because he is still in college. However, the details of his academics and personal life are not yet known.
