Mitchell Trubisky will start for the Bears in Week 13, coach Matt Nagy confirms (via Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com). Foles, who is nursing a hip injury, was limited in practice on Wednesday, though Nagy added that the former Super Bowl-winning QB didn’t have great velocity on his passes.
Trubisky completed 26-of-46 passes for 242 yards on Sunday night vs. the Packers. He tossed three touchdowns while coughing up two interceptions.
More NFC Notes:
- The Eagles have officially activated Zack Ertz from injured reserve. Dallas Goedert should continue to be a staple in Philly’s passing game, though his target share will decrease as Ertz gets up to speed.
- Dalvin Cook was limited with an ankle injury during Wednesday’s practice. He appeared to suffer the injury in the second half against the Panthers on Sunday. Alexander Mattison would be a must-start against the Jaguars if Cook sits out.
- The Giants could be without Daniel Jones on Sunday vs. the Seahawks. Jone suffered a hamstring injury in Week 12 and did not practice on Wednesday.
- Todd Gurley (knee) returned to practice on Wednesday. The running back missed the Falcons’ Week 12 win over the Raiders.
