John Ross, the former No. 9 overall pick of the 2017 draft, has requested a trade from the Bengals, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

It has not been an ideal year for the former Washington Husky. He has appeared in just three games, being inactive for Weeks 3-5 and only getting one snap in Sunday’s loss to the Colts. He has two receptions for 17 yards this season.

In his short career, he has played in 27 games and has 51 receptions for 733 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The trade deadline is November 3rd and a few teams could inquire about the services of Ross before then.

Teams That Could Trade For Ross

  • Chicago Bears: A speedy deep threat would increase the chances of Nick Foles and the Bears winning the NFC North. The leading receiver, Allen Robinson II, leads the way with 40 receptions, 474 yards, and two touchdowns. The next closest wideouts are Darnell Mooney (18/196/10 and Anthony Miller (16/169/2).
  • Philadelphia Eagles: It is no secret that the Eagles have been decimated by injuries this season and one of the key positions is wide receiver. Ross can fill a void and provide a target for Carson Wentz.
  • Baltimore Ravens: Here is a great running team and they surely lack at the receiver position. Marquise Brown leads the way with 26 catches, for 376 yards and a touchdown.
