9:23 am: It has been a whirlwind week for the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Dan Quinn and GM Thomas Dimitroff were fired Sunday night after an 0-5 start to the season. Now, with a game against the Vikings looming Sunday, Atlanta placed rookie defensive tackle Marlon Davidson on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, per Adam Schefter.
One Falcons staff member has tested positive this morning. This test led to the decision to shut down the facility for at least today. The NFL is working through its contract tracing protocol and has yet to determine if the game will be postponed. As of now, it appears the game against the Vikings will continue as scheduled, per Mike Garafolo.
