In a rare Tuesday night football matchup, two undefeated AFC ball clubs will face off. The 4-0 Buffalo Bills will be visiting the 3-0 Tennessee Titans. This will be a defining contest in our unusual season plagued by Covid news and outbreaks.

The Titans have not played a game since September 27th due to multiple Covid outbreaks within the organization. Because of the virus, Tennessee has not even been able to practice in weeks, but they can distance themselves from the rest of the division with a victory tonight.

The Buffalo Bills have to be chomping at the bit to get back on the field. Buffalo has been rolling this season and have an opportunity to jump out to a two and a half-game lead on perennial division champs, the New England Patriots. Quarterback Josh Allen ended last season as Clark Kent but entered the phone booth this offseason and came out as Superman. Buffalo is hardly recognizable from its former self as they have gone from a defensive team with a ball-control offense to an offensive juggernaut with defense becoming an afterthought.

The weather should be perfect in Tennessee this evening with a temperature in the low sixties and clear with no wind. Buffalo enters the game as three and a half point road favorites with the total set at 52.5. Let’s look a few ways to make some money tonight.

Over 52.5 Total Points (-110)

Both teams had lackluster performances in Week 1. The Bills beat the Jets 27-17 and the Titans beat Denver 16-14. This was entering a season without the benefit of practice. Since that week, both offenses have been stellar. Both defenses have not.

Buffalo is averaging 32 points per game while allowing almost 28 per game. Tennessee is also averaging 32 points per game and allowing 30 on defense. These stats combined with the fact that Tennessee has not practiced in more than two weeks should allow for offensive fireworks tonight.

Get down on the over as soon as you can because this line is sure to move up before kickoff.

Jonnu Smith to Score a TD (+140)

Smith is one of the most athletic tight ends in the NFL. The Titans are expected to be without Corey Davis and AJ Brown is questionable for tonight’s game. Without the best two receivers on the team, Tennessee will lean on Smith in the passing game.

He is their number one threat in the red zone and should get plenty of chances against this Bills defense.

Stefon Diggs to Score a TD (+125)

Diggs has been one of the best offseason transactions in all of football. With the addition of Diggs, the Bills added a weapon that Allen just has not had since his time in Buffalo. This has allowed Daboll to open up the playbook and get more creative. So far, it has been fun to watch.

As previously mentioned, the Bills have had plenty of practice time to get creative for tonight’s game. Knowing what they have to work with, Buffalo should utilize Diggs in a¬† big way tonight and he will be the beneficiary of a porous Tennessee defense.

Josh Allen Over 2.5 TD Passes (+160)

Allen has 12 touchdown passes in the first four games this season. So at a simple glance, the math adds up. One glaring difference in the Buffalo offense this season, from years past, is that offensive coordinator Brian Daboll has complete trust in Allen.

Buffalo is not only throwing the ball more, but they are calling pass plays consistently in the red zone. That combined with the lack of a running game makes the price juicy. The Bills have had plenty of time to prepare for this game. Expect Daboll to dial up some creative plays when the Bills get into the scoring area.
