Michael Thomas is out again, but for a ridiculous reason.

Thomas has been ruled out for Monday night’s game vs the Chargers, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. During a practice, the 27-year-old receiver punched safety Chauncey Gardner – Johnson. The Saints have called this “team discipline.”

The three-time Pro Bowler has been out for three weeks with an ankle injury. He only has three catches for 17 yards.

The last time that New Orleans used discipline within was in 2017 when they disciplined cornerback P.J. Williams before playing the Dolphins in London.
