Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock suffered a shoulder injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers in week two. The former University of Missouri quarterback is scheduled to miss three to five weeks, according to ESPN’s Jeff Legwold. On Tuesday, Denver agreed to terms with Blake Bortles on a one-year deal.

However, on Wednesday the Broncos announced that they would not place Lock on injured reserve.

“The prospect of Lock returning before Week 6 induced the team to keep its starting quarterback on its 53-man roster,” Fangio said.
