The New York Giants continue to struggle and now they have worst news than the scoreboard. Saquon Barkley left the game against the Bears with a knee injury. Barkley was seen slamming his fist into the turf after the play.
Barkley will undergo x-rays on his knee on Monday and will not return, per the team. There is a fear that Barkley tore his ACL, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

More from the NFC
- The Chicago Bears and Tarik Cohen have reached an agreement on a three-year deal worth $18.25 million. This includes a guaranteed $9.5 million. Last season the running back rushed 64 times for 213 yards and caught 79 passes for 456 yards. Interestingly, he rushed for zero touchdowns last year. Obviously a large part of Chicago’s future plans, this contract will hopefully leave enough on the table for the Bears to sign receiver Allen Robinson.
- Dan Snyder will not attend the Washington Football Team’s game today, which is the first time he will miss a game in 21 years. Snyder and his wife, Tanya, were in contact with a friend that tested positive for COVID-19. They have tested negative but will miss the game out of caution.
- Rams running back Cam Akers injured his ribs in the first quarter against the Eagles, forcing him to leave the game. Akers received three carries before leaving and after the game, coach Sean McVay said there was no update on his status.
- San Francisco cannot catch a break. The defending NFC champions were already without star TE George Kittle, Dee Ford, Deebo Samuel and Richard Sherman. During the first quarter against the New York Jets both Joey Bosa and Solomon Thomas were carted off the field. Neither will return according to 49ers PR Bob Lange In addition, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and starting running back Raheem Mostert also left the game.
