September 20: Lions wideout Kenny Golladay will miss his second game due to a hamstring injury suffered on September 9th. Detroit finished one dropped pass short of a victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 1. Matthew Stafford spread the ball around, connecting with six different receivers at least three times.
Golladay’s presence is sorely missed in the Lions’ receiving core. Danny Amendola and Marvin Jones performed well last week, however, the absence of Golladay meant the Bears could lean to the middle of the field. Stafford and company need Golladay to open things up on the outside and keep the defense on their heels. Though it would have been nice to have him against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, we’ll have to wait at least one more week.

When Will Golladay Return?
Fantasy owners and Lions fans should rejoice to hear head coach Matt Patricia’s latest on the receiver. Patricia told Tom Pelissero, “he’s really close,” which potentially means he’ll suit up against the Cardinals in Week 3. Barring any setbacks or new injuries, Golladay looks to build off of his strong 2019 campaign with another 1,000+ yard and double-digit touchdown year.
