The Dolphins have released former No. 10 overall pick Josh Rosen, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

Miami had been fielding trade offers for the QB, though it appears no offer materialized.

Head coach Brian Flores hasn’t officially named his starter,  yet all signs point to Ryan Fitzpatrick starting the year under center with rookie Tua Tagovailoa serving as the backup.

Rosen has not had much success during his short stint in the NFL. In three starts last season, Rosen threw for 395 yards, a touchdown, an interception, and he was sacked 12 times.
