The Eagles continue to pile up injuries.

Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is dealing with a minor “soft tissue” injury (via Ian Rapoport of NFL.com). The 27-year-old quarterback will not practice Sunday and the team will be cautious before their Week 1 showdown with the Washington Football Team.

Since being drafted in 2016 as the second pick of the NFL draft. Wentz has suffered a torn ACL/LCL, a fractured back, and a concussion that he dealt with in the 2019 Wild Card game vs Seattle. The Eagles drafted Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

However, forget this doom and gloom for fantasy football. He still threw for over 4,000 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2019 and his weekly ceiling remains high.

OT Dillard Out for Season

Yeah, this hurts.

Left tackle Andre Dillard tore his biceps during a Thursday morning practice. Dillard was projected to be the starting left tackle after a terrific training camp. The Washington State product was drafted 22nd overall in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Replacements will include the likes of longtime veteran Jason Peters, but it will include a pay increase if he is moved back to left tackle (via Mike Garafolo of NFL.com). Others mentioned were Jordan Mailata, Matt Pryor, and Jack Driscoll.
