Lamar Jackson | Baltimore Ravens

While Baltimore’s Earl Thomas drama dominated the headlines this weekend, the Ravens had a substantial story swept under the rug. Quarterback Lamar Jackson missed his last two practices with the team.

“We’ve got a couple guys — Marcus Peters is another one and Justice Hill is another one — who have some soft tissue things. Just rather be safe with those guys right now and give those things a chance to get better and be right,” Harbaugh said.

Harbaugh didn’t go into further detail about Jackson’s woes. Perhaps it’s nothing to worry about but it’s worth monitoring.

Baltimore has Robert Griffin III and Trace McSorley behind Jackson on the depth chart. QB Tyler Huntley is also on the roster, though he’s unlikely to make the regular-season roster.

Baltimore notched 14 wins last season behind Jackson’s strong play, though their win total for this year is 11.5 (GambetDC).
