Kenny Clark was finally paid handsomely.

The Green Bay Packers and DT Kenny Clark agreed to a four-year extension worth $70 million. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the 24-year-old will also receive a $25 million dollar signing bonus making him the highest-paid nose tackle in league history.

The former UCLA Bruin had a successful Pro Bowl season in 2019 with a career-high 62 tackles and six sacks. According to Pro Football Focus, Clark received an amazing 90.9 rating among nose tackles.

The Packers defense is a “dark horse” for fantasy football owners after this huge move. Under defensive coordinator Mike Pettine, the Packers improved to 15th overall.

Prior to his extension, Clark was to be a free agent after the 2020 season.

Packers Add Two Wide Receivers

After Devin Funchess opted out of the 2020 season, the Packers were in need of depth at the wide receiver position. Malik Turner, who is just 24 years old, was brought in after two years with the Seattle Seahawks. In 2019, Turner had 15 catches for 245 yards and one touchdown (Week 11 vs the Eagles).

Green Bay also claimed WR Travis Fulgham from the Detroit Lions who played three games in 2019.

Turner and Fulgham will compete with Allen Lazard, Equanimeous St. Brown, Jake Kumerow, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Darrius Shepherd.
