Dak Prescott
Dak Prescott | Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys and Dak Prescott have not reached an agreement on a long-term deal. Instead, the two-time Pro Bowl QB will sign his franchise tag, according to ESPN.

Prescott’s franchise tender is worth $31.4 million. He and the Cowboys have until July 15 to work out a new contract or he’ll play under the franchise tag in 2020.

Dallas has both publicly and privately exclaimed that Prescott is the Cowboys’ quarterback of the future and Dak has repeatedly said that he doesn’t want to play for any other team.

Prescott led the Cowboys to 8 wins in 2019, which was his worst mark since taking over for Tony Romo as a rookie back in 2016. The Cowboys’ over/under is 9.5 (FanDuel) and they are -260 to make the playoffs.
