Reigning MVP Lamar Jackson had a bit of a scare over the weekend. The quarterback was playing pick up football on the beach when he was tackled into the nearby water and flipped over a jet ski.

According to ESPN, Jackson will be just fine.
Restrictions For Jackson Forthcoming?
Other top signal-callers have restrictions built into their contracts on what type of activities they can do. The Chiefs told Patrick Mahomes last year that he couldn’t play pick up basketball after video surfaces of him dominating his friends on the court. Other players in the past have been limited in what kind of games and activities they can take part in, as team’s want to mitigate the risk of a major injury during offseason fun.
Jackson took the league by storm last season in his first year as a starter. He became the first player to throw for over 3,000 yards and run for over 1,000. The Ravens hope that the next time we see him make a big play will be on the field with the team.
